The rain forest may be just a simply place compared to the forest in movies such a Avatar. Once you consider the impossible it would make anything seem just dull. I believe the rain forest might just still have some surprises up its sleeves and not just the ability to to turn CO2 in O2 for obvious reasons. But the sheer magic and wonder it gives once you enter such a large biome makes you really feel the scale of youself and the human race. It also puts into perspective the sheer size of the universe in all its glory.
I have spent at least one third of my life in the tropical rain forest and after spending night after night of stargazing wonder; it suddenly dawned upon me the size of all life and the universe. In this time I really experienced the real magic the rain forest can do to you and your soul. It's like a cage has been opened and I had been set free or just simply the sleepy haze of the hustling and bustling London streets had worn off but it is simply magic to feel.
In experiencing the real rainforest; maybe that forests in the movies will seem more real than just someting from the movies
